What a joy it is to watch the Derry Town Council meetings when there is no yelling, name calling or screaming at each other as was the problem with the previous Council.

I was in Damn Yankees back in 1998, which I would assume is the last time Pinkerton performed it. It's a great show! Have fun everyone! Wish I was in the area and able to see it. I know Mr. Q will do a great job!

I the new dress code require the fellas to wear neck ties, I have a few left that Head Master Iva Hackler made me wear. I can send them to you.
Love the idea of a dress code..... I was discouraged to see less than scholarly attire on my visits to campus.

Give me a break Ms. Anderson. You're going to make parents flip the bill to buy clothes from a "specified vendor"? It's a uniform for the masses. Sad that you believe that what the kids wear affects their learning. Wake up, it's 2013!! I can see using the rules that follow business casual but a uniform?? You're nuts!

Londonderry taxpayers need to get involved or run the risk of receiving significant individual assessments for Hart's actions and the council's cover-up.
Here's how a federal judge portrayed Hart in a letter written by Hart's lawyers to the town's liability insurer at a pretrial conference in 1998.
"the plaintiff has an excellent case and that it seems quite clear that both the Londonderry Police Department and Hart-whom the judge claimed to know as the source of numerous problems and errors-had acted inappropriately. I have never observed Judge Muirhead to be quite so free with his criticisms and opinions as he was during this particular conference."
Hart then demanded the judge recuse himself, got a new judge, and then fabricated new evidence to win dismissal.
The state has been unwilling to admit to Hart's transgressions as it would question all other cases he prosecuted, and that is the reason the truth has not come out.
Even more compelling, however, is that this case would expose the numerous state and federal prosecutors, review boards, and the state Supreme Court for their involvement in the cover-up.

The first issue confronting the new town manager will be what to do with Bill Hart, whose actions in a 1998 civil suit have been the subject of three US attorney investigations and a call for answers from Senator Shaheen, who has questioned Senator Ayotte for covering-up Hart's fabrication of witness statements and lying to the court. Should the truth come out, Londonderry taxpayers could be facing a significant assessment. A similar 1998 case settled by Cambridge, Ma taxpayers two years ago cost taxpayers $15,000,000 and still is not fully settled.
The Attorney Discipline Office reopened the investigation on July 12, 2013 asking Rockingham County Superior Court Justice N. William Delker for answers.

Barking? Waste? okay, so what are the "other issues?" There is not a lot of barking that goes on at a Dog park...the occasional excited yip...Dogs with their owners are generally happy for the exercise. The larger issue are breeds that are not well socialized and attack other dogs. As for cleaning up pet waste, there are some irresponsible dog owners that will likely leave that to others, as with anything else. With even some nominal maintenance, a dog park can work just about anywhere. Londonderry seems to be full of people who are card-carrying members of the C.A.V.E. Coalition (Citizens against virtually everything)

Really? Kevin Coyle said spending money in the downtown is a waste?
Seems to me the hypocritical ex councilor voted to purchase the Defeo
property in a scheme that he offered when he voted to purchase Defeo
property for others vote on the bike path. Does he have no shame now
saying its a waste of money?
